For anyone who has the 42281 Glückauf set, have you been able to add internal lighting?
I see looking at the product description that there is no lighting icon.
What I would like to do is add LED lighting with appropriate color, no decoder.
I would like to use the RTS current conducting couplers if possible.

These are the same tinplate coaches that came in the Rheingold set (with pre-installed lighting). To get real closecoupling with these coaches, use the powerconducting couplers from the Rheingold set (the bar is slightly shorter). See post #3 in this thread: https://www.marklin-user....aspx?g=posts&t=8197I haven't tried adding lights, so I can help with that. |

Hi Tom, I did see your post about the M* power conducting coupler 272140. I tried to post in that same thread, but the option was not available, so I started this thread. Thanks. And yes Nev I saw your post about the 4228 set with RTS CCC. So anyone put lights in these cars? r/Thomas |
