I brought the 39223 back in 2004 and still smooth running with c-shine today. I find 39223 no issue. |

now that you have had the 39223 for a while, what is your general impression? How is the c-sine?
I love it! Hope to take it to our exhibition tomorrow (Saturday). One 'problem' I have found with it is that it stutters around the track when used with my CS1. With the CS2, MS1 and MS2, and the 6021, it is fine. I thought it was dirty M track at first, until I happened to try it with something else. Hopefully, an upgrade to the CS1 Reloaded with its stabilised power supply will fix that problem. Apart from that, it runs very smooth, and is a good puller.

John,
I knew you had bought one of the set. I'm trying to stick to late Era III, late 1960's so the 39223 might be a better fit.
Stephen & David,
Thanks for the road reports. I like that it is a strong puller, maybe give my BR 44 a run.

I bought the 37225 set last month and I absolutely love them. I operate analog and they both run beautifully. When power is put on the trafo about 1/4 power their lights go on and then they begin to move slowly and then start picking up speed to set speed on the trafo. I still have my 3022 from about 1970. It still runs great too. I would recommend this set to anyone! Cheers,Peter

Hopefully, an upgrade to the CS1 Reloaded with its stabilised power supply will fix that problem. Powering the CS1 with the stabilised power supply from my Ecos fixed the stuttering problem.
