There are 21 Airport episodes.

Here is the last current episode 21.

To be able to turn on subtitles (english language) click the arrow and click caption (CC)

I will start with the 1st episode the next time or copy the title: Gerrits Tagebuch Volume and write in, instead of 21, 1 or 10 and download it yourself.

Unreal!!
How many visitors a year is required to recover costs?
Gives you a different perspective on what some people will can/do to recreate our world(in model form).

Already in 2008 alone, the exhibition was visited by 1 Mio people. (thats was 5 Mio visitors total since first opening.)

I understand that business is sound, and that MiWuLa is already the number 1 tourist attraction in Hamburg since several years ago. (Dont know if this comparisson includes the Reberbahn though...)

I visited it a long time ago. (When they were still building on the "Hamburg" layout...)

Thanks Henrik

That explains the effort going into the realism and automation of control and design. I hope to see it in the flesh one day.

thinking of an idea is one thing, planning is a huge job, building on it, is another thing, getting started is an enormous task, finding bugs can be fun or total frustration, having done half, there is no return, finishing is a dream, running it is a miracle and displaying it to the public with out major problems, you know you've got an excellent team behind you.

I've seen these videos and they're amazing. Apparently this started with 2 brothers' dream of a large layout. BigGrin They succeeded.

I've just watch some MiWuLaTV videos,
it's unbelievable!
it's not human.
I'm sure all the little Preiser figurines are working on it every night as ants.

I wish to go there one day.

I got as far as episode 17. Unbelievable what they have achieved. And the man hours alone must be huge. Look at episode 12 to get an idea of what is needed to control this thing, and 13 has an overview of some very neat gadgets.
