Hello, I know you all are probably tired of these type posts. I have the following item #'s in the original boxes:

8900, loco, track and cars.
8901, loco, track and cars.
8490 and 8491, tracksets.

All the original literature seems to be there, and begins w/ 68.

Have transformer # 6727, along w/ a bridge and caboose as extras. Everything appears excellent, though I have not tried to operate it. I have had this set for about 10 yrs and it belonged to my godfather, who gave it to me then. He died several yrs ago. I'm guessing this is early-70's vintage. Here it all is:

Any idea of its age? Value?

I have looked at ebay, but most listings seem to be for individual cars, and not complete sets. Ideally, I'd like to sell as a whole lot, but would there be more interest in listing each model # above as an individual item?

Thank you for any reply.

^Thank you. An 8900 just showed up on ebay (it is not my listing as I don't have the transformer box). So I'll watch that to see how it goes.

http://cgi.ebay.com/VINT...&hash=item1e5e2729f5

I also saw an 8907 set listed there for $599 (optomistic!) claiming '74 issue. So from what I have been able to read, if the Mini Club came out in '72, mine must be close to that if the higher # is '74. I may have to see if I can get mine going, just to see if it runs.
