Hello David. I have not seen any in years, but you are correct. The model Power were re packed Pola and Faller after Faller took over Pola. I have noticed difference in scale with Vollmer kits more than others. They seem a bit smaller. I had the Model power car dealership and it pictured Herpa cars on the box, but had Lima hollow body cars actually in the kit. The same building was used for the computer center store. I later replaced it with Faller hexagon shaped dealerships. Pola kits are mainly G scale now. I had found some nice older Pola/Faller ho kits at the store over on Harper & 8&1/2 mile. I'm sure you know the one. You might find some at the big Gratiot Valley show/sale at south Macomb college in November. I used to attend that regularly and found nice items. as for variance of scale, I don't find it a big issue, as in prototype, window sizes also differ from one building to the next. many modelers use the Faller Z scale castle for background use, and it looks fine.
