I am preparing to build the "Compact HO Layout" featured in Maerklin Magazin beginning with the June/July 2006 issue. Since I have not yet learned how to use Win Track, it would be very helpful to be able to get the Win Track files for that layout. Does anyone know how to get those files or how to contact the author of the series, M.T. Nickl? I have downloaded the PDF plans and drawings from the Magazin site but it would really be useful and would help me to learn Win Track if I could get those files. Thanks.

Peter, here is a link to the English WinTrack demo http://www.wintrack.de/usa.html - you can't save or print from it (but you can take "screen shots" with Alt-PrintScreen). The WinTrack layouts from Marklin Magazine may have some of the track connections "twisted" (a slight angular adjustment for fit) so if you can't exactly duplicate the fit shown, this is probably why.
