Hello
I bought a new locomotive with a loksound V3.5 in & it does not respond to programming cv5 & cv6.
Someone who has the same problem.

The lights blink as normal when you change cv5 & cv6 but the engine is running as fast as before

Can it be broken?
Or is it something that is wrong with the CV values
Have also tried to resette decoder CV8 to 08 but no difference
Cv 1-4 works well
Cv63 also works
I hear that the volume change

CS1 + TC
The locomotive is a HobbyTradeTMZ
AC digital with sound

Hi, Anders,
Welcome to the forum.

Which loco? New or second hand?

With bit 4 of CV 29 one can disable CVs 2, 5, and 6 and instead set a speed curve via CVs 67 through 96.
Factory default uses CVs 2, 5, and 6 - but this could be different for OEM decoders or second hand locos.
Regards
Tom
