Hello to all of you,

I just joined the forum. To keep my sanity I decided a few months ago to unpack my old Marklin M track collection from the 60s and enjoy them one more time. It was an amazing feeling to see the lights again and hear the old trains run again smoothly after more than 40 years.

Anyway, some of my old tracks have faulty couplers (#s 701540 and 701570). I tried to straighthen them with plyers but did not work, so I bought a few new spare ones. Does any body know how to change them? I can'f figure out if you can extract the old ones like teeth or what. I will be grateful to have your advice or perhaps there is a link showing how to this. The tracks I have with problems are also from the 60s (# 4505 and 4575 among others).

Many thanks.

Oscar
