I was looking for a softwareprogram to change the address of the decoders via my compter using the 6021 and interface instead of trying it direct via my 6021 (i can't seem to get it right everytime Crying )
Found something on the webpage of Henning Voosen http://www.henningvoosen.de/index.htm
Does anyone have some experience with this program or something simelar ?

This interface 6051 seems not possible to check everything via computer.
It was mostley only about tracklayout to build up on the screen of PC.
But of course by using an program too,by control layout which you download it at PC.
I have never heard about to read locomotiv decoder on computer via 6021 and 6051.
Today interface 6051 is hopeless out and there is now other way of control layout and decoder via computer!

I know is out out dated to today's standards Goofy.
But it is what i have and not all of us have the big bucks to spent on CS2 or similar control devices.
I wish i had though , but there are tough choices to be made with the new 2010 items ;-)

We all know how diffecult is can be to even change the address with a 6021 for programmeble decoders.
It looks like the programm from mr Voosen using the computer via the 6021 and interface could be used as an easier alternative
and was only curious if someone had any experience with it or anything similar using the computer via an interface.

It´s same!
Programming can also see as reading too!

Here speaks the 2-railer.
MM programming is writing without reading.
DCC main track programming is writing without reading.

CU 6021 can program decoders, but cannot read decoders.

I have not heard of any program capable of programming decoders via the 6021+6051 combo, but the link you provide states it should be possible with that software.

Please note, older decoders with the "mouse piano" aboard are not programmable with software - only the DIP settings count... So maybe decoders like 60760 & mfx are possible to program with a Motorola address, even if I have my doubts...

Please report if you decide to try it, could be helpful to those running the 6021-6051 combo...

Wrong about 2-railer!!!
I can read and the same time programming under programming by using for exemple Lenz USB!

Correct about CU 6021...but we are also writing about interface 6051!
You cannot reading MM older locomotivdecoder with 6051!
With new electronic MM locomotivdecoder i´m not sure in this case about interface 6051.
I have never heard about that anyway.

Fully aware that the old decoders with the dipswitches are not programmeble in this way.
Have some loco's with deocders that should work , keep you updated.

Hello Shunter,
Henning's programm is the best one when it comes to DCC-Decoder-Programming using the 6021/6051-equipment. You can use DecoderSnake for MM2-FX- or MFX-Decoders, but again here Henning's tool is much better (if you have a PC):
