I was skimming through the New Items Brochure today and I came across 39502, UserPostedImagewhich would be a BR150 with Telex coupling!!! (as far as I could see on the photo new telex coupling as the one carried by 37903). This loco was used as a "Schiebelok" in sharp ascents (i.e. Geislinger Steige) and I would be very happy to use it also in my sharp helix (incline of almost 6%) pushing long train consists that find it hard to climb up only hooked on a locomotive. BR 150 with its 6 axles and (I assume) high traction capacity would be ideal for this task. And the fact that it would carry the telex coupling would make it a real contribution to the existing range of locs of Maerklin. Therefore I must say that I am deeply disappointed that such a beautiful piece was cancelled and I would like to state here my question to Maerklin or anybody who is close to them on whether they will launch this loco in the future or is it really "gestrichen" from their future plans? I personally would be willing to initiate a campaign for the reincorporation of 39502 in the New Items list for 2010, assuming that the restructuring of Mr. Pluta will go well and finally a reliable buyer will be found.

In these times we all need to adjust our expectations, no matter how disappointing it might be. In my view it's far better to have a restricted range of models, that might not include what is on our wish lists, than no models at all.

I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!

I would have bought this too. Marklin has missed out on probably a lot of sales.

I will have to agree with this point.
I would prefer Marklin to deliver their new items on time, rather than promising too many new models that they can't possibly deliver on time anyway.
Now collecting C-Sine models.
