There are some incredible MODEL railroads that have been featured in Eisenbahn Journals Superanlagen issues by Rolf Knipper. Then again I love the industrial look... p. Don't know for sure but I seem to remember I've read somewhere these kind of layouts are sometimes used in the movie industry. Kind regards Guus

Yes, the wiring process is more complicated, but with some tips anybody can do it. But the big problem is: Outside Europe european models are mostly Marklin, almost no trains, no forums no nothing for 2 rails (european models)outside Europe. For those who are in the USA, this is a convenient way to obtain this book. Not too much Märklin pictured, but the scenery is inspiring (if not humbling!). I like the "less track, more scenery" philosophy.
