Hello all,

Well, the new BR64 is quite perfect but there is always something to improve. So today I applied some yellow paint to make it look even better (lousy pictures due to lack of light / no stand):

I applied the paint using a toothpick. The electricity box below the cabin was hard to do but it worked out fine. For that box, I used a piece of plastic film to prevent the paint from the toothpick touching the part above.

For a comparison with the real thing, I refer to a picture by Lutz:

As you can see, those yellow boxes really stand out. Notice that the engine above has a quite different configuration of those boxes.

I really like this kind of super detailing as it does not destroy the collector value of the loco... In my books, it would probably make it slightly more valuable to me!
