Hey Guys:


I purchased a lok programmer Hardware is grey in color software version 2.6.5.

Computer is a sony laptop running windows vista.

Connection is as follows

C track connected to lok programmer red on right and browm on left

Question 1 is this correct ?

I am using the power adaptor supplied.

I have opted to use the usb connector. Installed the vists usb driver at startup.

I have a locomotive with an ESU 3.5 Decoder on the track.

I am not getting connection ??

Plug the USB cable into your laptop and the serial end into the Lokprogrammer. Check your Windows hardware profile and see what comm port your Lokprogrammer USB cable is using. When the Lokprogrammer software is started, select 'modify settings of an ESU decoder'. A dialog box should come up. Select the comm port that you determined above.

In Vista, go to the control panel and open up device manager.
