Hi all, I'm new here, and then again I'm not. Have been reading this forum for quite a while now, but just recently registered. So in this first post I thought it would be appropriate to thank you all for the many things I have learned here, not only about Marklin, but also about things like hand uncouplers and dark suckers... Thanks a lot Also, this forum is at least partially responsible (quilty?) for quite a few investments, like a little croc family, a BR 218 + cars (43911 etc) and recently a brand new CS v2. Thank you forum And, maybe most of all, thanks for letting me know I am not totally crazy about spending on, and playing with trains. If there are so many, it cannot be craziness, can it? Well, at least I'm not the only one. Thanks! Peter |

Welcome to the forum, Peter.
You are quite right. You can learn a lot here. The fine thing is that this forum covers all aspects of this great hobby, from artistic landscaping with weight on the smallest details to computer freaks creating all kinds of locomotive and layout control.
I'm not so sure were I am in all this, though. |

Peter, you certainly are not crazy spending money on trains. It is a great, relaxing hobby. If you are, however, crazy, at least you are in great company here! |

An outsider. I'm looking for the owner of that horse. He's tall, blonde, he smokes a cigar, and he's a pig!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Good to see that we all think we are perfectly sane - I love the inventor of group-thinking. Looking forward to many more great discussions in this forum.
