Hi,
I'm looking for a background picture for my layout (landscape)
I've found some in the Faller catalog, but not elsewhere ( Noch, Bush..).
Who else makes this kind of picture, preferably in Europe?
Thanks for your help
Fred

Busch does sell some background pictures with a special feature, placed with a light behind it, it is possible to simulate day and night. "Day and Night Hintergründe" Refs; 2875, 2876.

They also have "regular" backdrop pictures. See: http://www.busch-model.c...katalog/d/uwg/130-h0.htm
All backdrop pictures are listed as numbers 2871 - 2878.

Peco in the UK has also backgrounds. Not only landscapes, but also cities, harbours and more. Most backgrounds can be connected with each other.

Thanks - The trick I use is to drop the foreground landscaping down just in front of the backdrop so that there is an intermediate horizon.

It's three years since I've bought a Back drop CD with many images that can be combined by a photo software in to a unique and original image.
At last I've found the time to do my first job, this is my new backdrop for freight yard.

Note, as always, a plywood base, some tracks and a backdrop are enough to give the impression like something almost real Smile

What about to move this topic in layout construction tips?

Bonjour EFEL,
My past experience with the Faller backdrops is that the colours and shades are not always identical from sheet to sheet; the end result was very disappointing.
Best regards,
Armando García

Hi Armando,
Thanks for your comments!

Alberto,
Very good result! Did you print the backdrop on a "standard" PC printer?
