Hi,
I can't show you a picture, but as you may know already it'll be a wheatered SVT 137 Fliegende Hamburger. (like the 37770) By the way, usually Märklin produced the Messe Modell in a number the same as the year (so 2003 pieces of the 2003 Messe Modell) now they've stopped stating they do so. My (additional) question is: does anyone know in what quantity this new Messe Modell will be produced? 2006 pcs.?? |

No picture nor prototype was exhibited during the toy fair; however, the model will be just lightly weathered. The number of produced units ill depend upon a minimum dealer's order volume received until a certain date. Just talk to your dealer and ask if he can reserve one for you (if your own order volume is beyond or near that value, this should not be any issue anyways). Regards, Lutz

Hello Lutz,
The minimum Order to recieve such a Set (37773 SVT 137) is U.S.$ 16,800.00 anyone in the Forum who orders this much from me will get the SVT 137 for free. There is however a cheaper Solution, send your #37770 (same Unit as the 37773) to Trix weathering Service and it will cost you EURO 45.oo plus shipping.

I presume that's the amount of money the dealer has to spend on an order. I can't imagine an individual spending that much on HO in a year. Ira |

Hi Martin, correct (for the minimum order volume). For the second part (weathering) there is still a minor difference - the model you send to Nürnberg (it was explained in one of the last TRIX Profi-Club mags) will be weathered different than the dealer model; besides the difference in product number on the box and loco serial number. Regards, Lutz

I like the clean one better. looks a little overdone.
I think the weathering on this model is done nicely and not overdone at all! This opinion is based on how my own 37773 looks. Anyway, I like both |

Well it was issued to me, but it isn't meant for my personal use It's for funding biomedical research. I'm a scientist and belong to the lucky (excellent ) few that receive funding from the NIH even though I'm residing outside the US. You can see more here: http://www.betacell.org |
