I've had a hard time finding any information on this so I thought I'd ask the experts here...
I'm trying to control a locomotive that is in a consist individually. I'd like to be able to have a lok drive up in front of another, couple together and then control them both as a consist. I have not found a good way to do this besides having the loks come together, then creating the consist in the CS. Then when I want them separated, I have to delete the consist.
Is there a better way?

Hello Justin
As far as I understand you can not control a locomotive that is included in a consist separately. I have tried, but it don't get it to work.
Let's hope someone else knows better. |

Posted by Lutz in the "My Ecos Experience" thread in this section. Quote:[size=1" face="Verdana" id="quote]quote:In the CS environment, you can still drive a loco alone even if it is included in a MT. It's just required that this loco has been selected on a controller (i.e. either second CS controller or MS) BEFORE it is added to the MT loco list. It actually work such that you can use BOTH operational modes, MT and single loco control, simultaneous. A very neat (undocumented) feature.
Hope this helps you out. Ira |
