I plan on using the 6604 to power the turnouts (37 of them) and the lanterns along with them on my layout. I have solidered the yellow of the lanterns to the red and the brown to the brown spade connections of the 74460 decoders. Will this work with the necessay feedback to the 6021 as well as the to CS? I will use the red and brown of the 6604 going to the track as power feeders to the red and brown of the decoders.UserPostedImage

Thanks for your consideration

Robert

No feedback with CU 6021 (AFAIK).
No feedback with CS if you use a 6604 as a booster, but AFAIK the 74460 will never give any feedback.

Robert: You also have to have the selector switch on the 6604 all the way to the clockwise (I think it is the righthand "off") postion. I'm at work and can't look at one at the moment.

What kind of track? If the lanterns are the M-track lanterns the power of the Delta might not be sufficient to power 37 of them. According to the Märklin catalog they draw around 0.8 VA each. With around 30 VA output from the Delta you are on the limit here.

Hello Robert,

you have also to connect the brown output of the 6021 with the brown wire of the Delta Control, and it works fine, and also works with the Central Station as I explained at this forum before,

Greetings,

Walter

Thank you gentlemen. I am using C track and the led's, as I understand, do not draw very much current.I did not have the brown wire of the 6021 and the 6604 connected. It works fine now.
