Nice puzzle. I can see you already hammering that monster platina into the loco shell ... biggrin
I hope no one visits a poor Southener's layout in Brooklyn. Intruders beware of Gators.

I think the only reason for buying these parts is to fix another (almost complete) SK 800... I'm sure there are missing parts in this SK 800. It looks like some wheels are missing and other parts are in really poor condition. I guess I wouldn't even try to fix a SK 800 with it anyway... Finding parts for an SK 800 is difficult, although not impossible. Finding a good, complete one in a nice condition, that's an art. (Or call it luck, or networking, or whatever)

A hundred seventyseven English quid for this junk ....

Man I should start selling my collection right now and opt for at least three years of vacation instead.

Maybe visit all you guys so not to loose contact to Märklin stuff ....

Hmmzz... it would almost be interesting to take an old crappy SK 800 apart and sell the parts. This is sick! (OK, maybe I exaggerate a little, but anyway)

Soon enough people will start making the spare parts themselves, just like with classic cars

(possibly something Z-scale as well ;))
