Hello.

I've just installed the NEM 611654 spare part in my Ludmilla. I was wondering if anybody has found the perfect engine settings for the Hobby engine. Although the Ludmilla now runs nice and almost smoothly, it seems to me, that there are space for improvements. So if any one has got some hints on which CVs I should adjust, please, come forward. :-)

Kind regards
Søren

I will answer the question myself:

CV2 = 4
CV53 = 40
CV54 = 10 - 14 (I've tried both 10 and 14, no change)
CV55 = 30

These are almost the same settings that go for PIKO engines. It seems to be working. The Ludmilla is now running smooth and almost silently. You can hear a small buzzing from the engine, nothing a good sound decoder can't beat. :-) I will look into that sometime.

I also changed CVs 113 and 114 to 0. This made the ugly yellow LED glow at their lowest. I think it gives the loco light a more realistic look.

I've made a double A at F3 by changing CVs 159 and 162 to 3. Whenever I'm in shunting mode the Ludmilla uses the double A. Smile

Kind regards
Søren
