Hi all, especially the Dutch in this case.
The quality of my dealer is deteriorating rapidly, since he went into argument with Marklin, and now is starting to concentrate on RC cars rather than trains. So I will switch to a webshop, because no other dealer is nearby.
How is modeltreinexpress.nl doing ? And is it usefull to become a member ?
best regards, Gregor

I live close to Roermond, nearest dealers are in Sittard or Eindhoven, places where I don't come often.

Not really close perhaps, but -- I think -- interesting at least to visit in the near future: Totaltrain shop to be opened in the historical station building of Valkenburg a/d Geul. http://www.totaltrain.nl/Jeroen |
Figomima division, UP; mostly figment of my imagination yet. |

FANTASTIC SHOP!With enthusiast people who know what they are selling. Being a member gives you approx. 4% extra benefit. And the prices are already nice. Modeltreinexpress is my dealer since februari 2004. |

I bought some items from Modeltreinexpress and also from Harlaar in Badhoevedorp. Price level is about the same and both shops reply correctly to e-mails. Both have a rather sophisticated online list of items, and in case of doubt I phone or e-mail them to be sure if something is in stock. I always let them send it by mail, the shipping cost is for me cheaper then traveling myself.

Hi Gregor
I too live near Roermond and have the same problem.
I can recommend modeltrain express If you fancy a day out and a great marklin/ other train shop try Aachen in the sqaure near the Dom is a great shop.
Nearer is one in Kerkrade , it is excellent but alittle difficult to find. It is just along from Rolduc about two km on the road that runs down the Netherlands /germany borader. |

Hi all,
I put an order at Modeltreinexpress, and asked a question, and they immediately responded in a friendly and professional way. Now all I have to do is to wait for the goods.
Banco, welcome to the Forum, where do you live ? Do you happen to have a 6021 ?
Best regards, Gregor
