Dear People

Can you help me ? I have recently moved and in the moving no longer have the instructions for the above. I have been rebuilding my layout and have incorperated the above crossing in the new layout thus:

I have two tracks, isolated from each other. One is diven from a 6021 plus transformer the other from a booster and transformer. The crossing lies between the two tracks . How do you wire this up so that the barriers fall when the train cossses the crossing ?Smile

Do you want to control this railroad crossing via a decoder or relais?
I need to draw down my own schema for you.

You don't need any contact tracks for the railroadcrossing itself.
But only for the signals for the S88 at any place in your track.
And instead of a switch-decoder + S88 feedback-decoder you can also use the Viessmann relais.

In these two cases you switch the yellow (16V) wire via the switch-decoder or relais.
The yellow wire is connected to the same transformer as the booster which feeds the track.

Or just with contact tracks?

The only thing you have to do then is built it into the track with the contact tracks
(which is the brown connection for the railroadcrossing)
and connect a yellow (16V) wire from the transformer of the 6021 or the booster to the two carroad parts.
You can extend the contact tracks with some C-tracks which you modify to extra contact tracks.

Make sure that the contact tracks with the blue arrow on it are connected correctly to the roadparts.
The blue arrow need to be placed on the same side as the arrow signs on the roadparts.
