Hi Johann,

Actually, Jeremy thanked me by e-mail for the list I posted, so I presume he had found the information he was looking for.

Ok Jeroen, this is very nice to hear, and in case nobody else has told you: your list is really something special !!!! I am glad he received the information, and maybe he will return at some later stage !!!

Hi All,

I am not sure how to insert comments and it was certainly rude of
me not to acknowledge the replies that so much time and thought
went into, my apologies. Ty Jeroen for noting my response to you.
I have visited many times since my request and I continue to be in
awe of the knowledge that so many of you have, not only on Marklin
but also the history of trains in general. Thank you again. I have
since found that the numbers of the sets in question are #'s 4862
and 4863. These were issued by Marklin, I believe, to go with the Blue and Silver ABA Santa Fe.

Again thank you for all the thought, effort and time that went into
your responses,

Jeremy.

PS. Dear Johan, (Munich 1860)My wife would be grateful if this were
the case!! Unfortunately I have my heart set on the Texas and Pacific
set now.Jeremy.

Jeremy.

Hi Johann,

That seems to be the going rate, # 4863 is usually more because of
the blue caboose. With the help of my friend Will Goodnight at
Modellbahn Collectors, I now have these and sets and the 3662 Loc.

I know Wil helped someone find a British Loc. they were looking for
in the market place section. Although Will is my friend and I am a
customer of his, I am not on commission!!

Thanks,

Jeremy.
