PDF's of 1930's Marklin 0 gauge for free

Hey Bill and Guys,
I was brousing the internet last night and
found a militaria site that had 2 PDF downloads
of Marklin catalogs, the fires one is color and 68 pages
in the second in b/w 6 pages. Bill maybe you can help to date these
for the guys. Goto www.bills-bunker.de and scroll down to goring and marklin there you will find it. really informative and the scans are excellent, oh the 68 npage one is 15.56 mb in size! Best Davebiggrinbiggrin

The 0 gauge croc, on page 37, (CCS 66 /12920) was introduced 1933 and the last unit was produced 1940. The HS 66/12920, on the same page, was produced between 1934- 1940. On page 38 we have a CER 65/13021 which was produced between 1927-1935 and HR 66/12921 was produced between 1936-1937. So my guess is that the catalog is somewhere between 1935-1936.

Frankly, I was disgusted by a website devoted to defending the British traitors who supported the Nazis during the second world war.

I am all in favour of documenting History, but the content is purely on the side of the Nazi party and its ideals.

I saw a heading which said "Why die for the Jews?" and I became very angry and stopped reading at that point!

I will say no more on the subject.

That website itself is not politically correct and is on the extremist side, but those catalog scans are absolutely great.

Just download those and add them to your M history archive... Then ignore the site...

Hi I´m new on this forum, i´m from Denmark, so please exuse my perhaps not so correct english at times. I believe that catalog is allready here under "collector´s corner" and "catalog scans". By the way, for a Luftwaffefreak, those "Der Adler" scans are fantastic.

Very nice catalog scans...

I think mj's dating is correct although I didn't look into it closely...it's more difficult since its missing the cover. The second catalog is very nice with the metal erector set buildings, etc.

I'll have to check, but I think I may already have that catalog scan. As mentioned in other topics, I have many of the catalogs scanned, and am in the process of filling the gaps. A friend tells me he has all the catalogs from 1950 to 2006, and I can borrow them if I wish, an offer I will make use of.

I already uploaded the 2008 yearbook to rapidshare - the url is in the 'Catalog Scans' thread. I guess I can add the other ones to the collection. Give me a few days, and I'll see what I can sort out (this will be for the catalogs I have scanned - list is in the thread I mentioned). Other catalogs can be uploaded as I get scans of them.

Hey Bill, I will send you over some
PDF's that i have to start this.
I have 0/00 1947,0/00 1949, I think the '52 has some keywind O in it.I have 1956 HO
and the mis 30's one as well as the one with the Marklin Erector set.
I have a 70 and a 71 catalogs in english but i will have to scan and email to you.
This would be a good start. Like you i have been scouring the internet and eBay for info, especially O gauge. The mid 30's catalog is a goldmine it has the 3630 track as well as a 1 gauge type track that i did not even knew exsisted. hey did anyone get the Christies Fine Marklin auction catalog? I try to get one but they are sniped fast! It is supposed to be a goldmine as well. Best Dave

The Fine Marklin catalog by Christies is a good one...I am sorry to admit that I was the quick bidder on that auction you lost. It is an incredible catalog...We can work something out.
