I have updated my Märklin 37770 SVT 137 "Hamburger" with the Loksound MFX upgrade kit.

I am reusing the original decoder and sound module for my Delta SBB AE 3/6 loc.
All works fine, after taking care and rewiring all for the Märklin uncommon NEM 650 652 wire colours.

But I am not sure on the wires of the sound module:

Black.....???
Violet....connect to function output
White1....speaker
White2....speaker
Orange....???

In NEM colours Black is "common gnd" and Orange means "right motor"
In Märklin colours Black is "unknown" and Orange means "lights -"

confused Does someone know the real use of the Brown and Orange on the sound module? It recon it must be for power supplying...but I am afraid to destroy it connecting it wrongly

Thanks in advance,

Gert-Jan

Gert-Jan: Did you not get a manual with the LokSound mfx? It has teh proper connection diagram and description in it. if you don't have it, go to http://www.loksound.de/ and you can downlopad the manual in German or in English. Go to downloads and choose the one you need. The LokSound should have come with the speaker already attached with two brown wires.

Thanks for your reply.
Please note that the new Loksound MFX decoder for the SVT 137 gave NO problem at all! Transformed the lok in a featurefull soundmachine!

I am referring to the old one that originally came with the loc by Märklin.

As I am re-using that original decoder and soundboard (actually it only can give a horn) i was to hasty to write down how it all was connected [V]
