Hi,

I´m planning to get a Uhlenbroch 75200 decoder to my Electrotren MZ (DSB model).

In the moment I´m running delta system (but planning to upgrade to real digitalSmile very soon). On the Uhlenbroch 75000 are the default add. 78 (1 on delta), is that the same on 75200???

And where can I find a connection wizard to the decoder??? (I know that the guide Uhlenbroch ship with the decoder are on German language and i do not understand German).

The default address for the 75200 is 01.
There seems not to be a translation of the German manual.
The manual only describes how to change the decoder address using the Intellibox or the Maerklin 6021 (and the computer using the discontinued Loktools software).

The 75200 has been discontinued and is being replaced by the 76200.

75200 is now 76200, multiprotocol (Mot. + DCC), 9999 addresses in DCC mode, 255 in Motorola mode with Intellibox, 80 addresses with 6021.
The instructions include a schematic for the connections and installation, you should be able to install it. Anyway, if you have problems during the installation, you can post your questions and many people here will answer.

Thomas. Do you already have a 75200 or were you thinking of buying one? I have the manual in English if you already have a decoder. If you don't, I don't beleive that it is available anymore...you would have to buy the 76200. Don't know if the instructions are the same. If you have a 75200, let me know and I will scan the instructions and e-mail them to you.

BTW, Please go to your profile and enter your country.

Added: I just checked the LokShop. Apparently they still have some 75200's. Interestingly, the 76200 is cheaper.

Instructions for the 75200 and the 76200 are the same.

Most important is to remove form the engine and isolate the "center" wire of the field coil. For the rest:

The white wires are connected to the other connections of the field coil, brown is ground, red is the sliding shoe, gray and yellow to the lights and blue and green to the engine. For the res programming via the IB. The cappacitor on the engine remains, the rest has to be removed.

No, just the wire connection list. It is really simple, though.
1) Disconnect the field winding wires from the one brush plate, make sure they stay together and insulate them.
2) Remove the wire from the pickup shoe from the other brush plate. It gets soldered to the red wire from the decoder.
3) Remove the reverser and put the 75200 in it's place.
4) Hook the white wires to the two wires from the field that were on the reverser.
5) Solder the blue and green wires to the brush plates.
6) The gray wire is the front light, and the white wire is the rear light. You may have to reverse the blue and green wires on the brush plate if these come out wrong. (i.e. front light comes on in reverse).

Thomas..If you look at Page 3 of the docs I sent you, the default is 01.
If it has been used before, though, it could be set to anything. In that case you need to do a reset (function 10)

Added: Of course you can't do any of this with the 6604....hope you get your CU soon.

Having installed a 75200 myself, I can confirm the default address is 01. I know this because I installed it in a BR01 and therefore didn't have to change the address wink
