Hi all,
I'm having trouble locating the correct spare part no. for the coupler hook on a 3065 (V60 Telex).
The spare part lists on Marklin.de all say 298470, but this is a coupler that misses the two outer "thingies" (?) on the hook that give it the "open U" (in direction of travel) shape. And it is too narrow on the inside so the actual uncoupler "tongue" won't fit inside it (not sure I'm making sense here...).
The CD-rom download from Marklin.com lists two different versions of this loco, 3065-1 and 3065-2. 3065-1 has a different part number to 3065-2. How do I find out which one is the right one? Are there any other spare part lists out there that could help?

Well, it the coupler has "ears" ("thingies"), it is the older version of the Telex coupler... I'm not sure if you can get it as a spare part any longer... Would it be possible to post a picture? |

Thanks Juhan - you're exactly right. I couldn't get to sleep over this, so I finally found: http://www.scintilla.utw.../October00/msg00431.htmlYou cannot get the older version any longer since it doesn't work with close couplers. I'll have a go at filing the uncoupler "tongue" - wish me luck! |
