Joined: 17/05/2008(UTC) Posts: 44 Location: San Francisco, CA		Hello all, I was at Eurowest today and Wolfgang from Eisenbahn Clinic had a demo setup using the new ESU switchpilot servo and the new ESU servo motors. They were used to switch turnouts at slow speed and for crossing gates and other automation. What I found nice was that the servo motors were quite small and according to Wolfgang the MSRP is around the same price M switch motors. Of course, you will need the switchpilot servo to control up to four motors.

I'm inclined to prefer the Uhlenbrock - just to be a little more modular - they also resell 3 servo options. (note: I have read the manual but not tried the ESU hardware) ESU - 51800 24Eur switchpilot - supports 2 servos (4 Other outputs available for k83/k84 lookalike) - 51802 18Eur each servo Uhlenbrock - 67800 24Eur Servodecoder - supports 4 servos - 814xx 10Eur each - 3 server options - mini/standard/precision torque = 4/13/14 Nm Marklin - NoServo option - 60830 26Eur k83 + relay (don't bother with k84 - far too expensive) - Tortise of some kind
