For reason of space I need to fit Marklin level crossing on curved C track . Any suggestions or ideas how to modify Marklin level crossing for this purpose are welcome . Thank you in advance

Problem is the looks; you have to cut the plastic of the inner part, fill in with landscape forming material at the outside. Electrical it's no problem; to get it work you just have to make sure that the tongues that normally is fixed to the track is grounded when a train passes; use contact tracks and a relay, or make your own by isolating the rails of your tracks and make the axles do the grounding.
But to me it seems rather absurd. Buy some Viessmann stuff instead if you are prepared to do some work. Much better looks, inlcuding slowly moving bars. Faller used to have building kits, but I'm not updated here.

I wouldn't go for Marklin either... I would buy separate parts from Viessmann or Busch (like the bars for example) and create a level crossing of my own |

Dear Lars and Thanos thank you for your answers . I think I'll modify Marklin level crossing adding styrene sheets in order to fill the gap for the road . I want to use Marklin level crossing all the way because atfer 20 years of DC trains now I have " the Marklin syndrom " and I feel fine when I see a white box with Marklin logo in red! Ciao Marco |

That's 100% understandable! I have that disease also but for locomotives and rolling stock... |
