Catolog is a synonym of catologue! However, the root of the word is Greek and it derives from the Greek word "katalogos" (kata, which means down + legein which means to speak) [Merriam-Webster Dictionary not "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" ]. What was the subject of this topic? [:p] The new Marklin catalog(ue) is always a pleasure to read... |

Sorry for messing with your topic Alonso, but a deviation now and then is not that bad, especially when... Quote:[size=1" face="Verdana" id="quote]quote:Thanos, from now on, until I get to meet you personally, I will visualize you as the dad with the windex! You drive a Cadillac???
hahahahaha!!! That's why I mentioned, that what I wrote comes from the Merriam-Webster Dictionary source! I had in mind an old post of yours that was referring to the movie. I was looking forward for your answer Charlie [:p]! And I'm not driving a Cadillac!! Hey, BTW what's wrong with windex? [:p] [Again sorry for the deviation my fellow forum members] |

And a great movie it was too!(also sorry about the deviation..) Windex is great stuff.. Using it to kill a few flies as we speak (type).. One of the few US grocery products we see down here that keeps its branding intact..

Hey alonso, I was trying to be funny there...[}:)] Harmless deviations like this are very ok with me, but not other that may offend people (you know what I mean... ) "Cattle dog" sounds like Aussie talk indeed if you try to say it that way yourself quickly with American accent, the "d" gets almost lost... Well, I guess we'll have to wait 1,5 to 2 months before the new "cattle dog" is in the shops.... |

To get back to your earlier post Thanos, I think that Windex can have the same effects as smoke fluid |

Marklin has great photos in their catalogs. I think they do a better job marketing their products visually than any of the US based firms. Are Roco and Fleischmann catalogs just as nice? I have never seen them except for the cover shots on various websites.

The English version should be there mid November, early December But I wouldn't know for sure! Windex eh? You should catch the following film: "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", then you will know what windex is all about. |

Hi all.
Since the 2003/2004 catalog is now out in Germany, how long do you expect it will be before the English version is available in the US?
