I'm looking for a list of the Marklin M-track, including the sizes of the tracks, esp. for the numbers 5202/5203/5204/5119/5207/5118.
Who can help me to get such a list?

Checking up an old catalog yields :

5202 :left and right turnouts, 5/6 of a 30°, radius 437,4 mm
5203 : left turnout, 5/6 of a 30°, radius 437,4 mm
5204 : right turnout, 5/6 of a 30°, radius 437,4 mm
5119 : ?
5207 :dual turnout crossing, 5/6 of a 30°, radius 437,4 mm
5118 : ?

The Markling web site should also give info, but since the M-tracks do no longer exist, I'm not so sure of this. (see also link page in this web site)

Good luck,

bob

The measurements given by Bob are almost correct. To be more exact:

5202: left and right electric turnouts, 24°17' (24.2833°) according to Märklin catalogue, radius 437.4 mm. The straight track is 180 mm.

5203, 5204: left and right part of the 5202 pair.

5207: dual turnout electric crossing, 24°17' according to the Märklin catalogue. Straight tracks are 180 mm.(This gives a radius of 418.3 mm). My own measurements indicate that the radius is 437.4 mm and the angle is 23.3°.

5119: right electric turnout, 30°, radius 360 mm, straight track is 180 mm. This is an old style turnout with big lamp house.

I haven't found anything about 5118, but I assume it is similar to 5119 but left instead of right.

Tiny supplement.
I support the opinion about 5118, left part of a 5117 pair.
The 5207 has such measures that if one puts a 8 mm straight track (5208) on the two diagonal tracks, it will be like a comgination of two 5202 turnouts. The straight track is 180 mm, yes, but angle or radius, or both, are a compromise to achieve that.

The 5207 is certainly a compromise. Of cause it is impossible to measure it exactly, but I think it is obvious that the compromise is mainly on the angle. You will see this if you connect a 5207 to a 5203 or 5204 (with or without a 5208 in between) and then add straight tracks to the "parallel" ends. You will clearly see that the two straight tracks are not parallel, they have an angle difference of around 1°.

Thank you all for this information.

In the meantime I've found a website with a allmost complete database with Marklin products: http://www.maerklinist.de

Or a direct link: http://www.maerklinist.d...maske/frame-db-maske.htm
