hi all, just posted some new layout pics. finally got my rail yard done and will start on completinng my roundhouse area. once thats done then i can knock down a wall and expand into another room.

off and on for about a year. the main hold up is money, as we all know. the yard was the biggest expense with all the digital/motorized switches, plus i also installed the lanterns. the rest is just scenery and buildings now until i open up the new area.

That is a awesome layout! I hope to have one like that someday. Did you build the roundhouse? I like the yard you built. Do you have a complete setup with a circuit around the room?

i built the roundhouse from two faller kits, which were excellent. the track basically does a loop and will eventually do another loop into the next room when we take down the wall. the next room will have all the industry and a sea port. we enjoy freight movement the most so that will be our priority.
