Where can I buy headlight bulbs for Marklin DA800? How do I find part number for them?

I believe DA800 is the same as 3005. Part # 60 000 which is the same for the old M track turnouts. On EBay you can see pictures if it matches. The data base on Marklin's web has a data base for 3005 not DA800 hope this helps - Fred

Hi, Thomas,
Welcome to the forum.

It should be easy to find the five-digit spare part numbers for the light bulbs (not my area of expertise).

Märklin changed to six-digit spare part numbers decades ago - simply add a 0 add the end.
They switched to spare parts in larger quantities not so long ago - simply add an E at the start.

So instead of "60000" search for "600000" or "600 000" and for "e600000" - sellers use different notations.
Regards
Tom

Hi Thomas,

I have both the DA800 and slighter later model 3005. The lamps are part number 60000 and fit both models. You can find the parts lists on the Marklin website as follows. https://www.maerklinshop...partslists&gaugeid=2

Regards Ken

The lamps that had the spare part number 60008 are now listed as E600080.
And similarly 60000 and 600000 refer to the same lamp like 60030 and 600300 refer to the same brushes (but the Märklin Shop will only find them when you search for E600300).
New longer numbers due to a new numbering scheme. You'll have more hits if you search for all three numbers.

Märklin E600000 on eBay:
http://www.ebay.de/sch/i...E600000&_sacat=22128

BTW: On eBay you find cheaper offers without the "E".

Tom
