My son asked me yesterday; "What's all that about dad?".
And I must admit, I really couldn't say... I'm a bit puzzled myself.biggrin

But regarding the Beer. We have a rather large Brewery close to where I live. It's actually owned by a Danish company. I asked one of their employees (also Danish), and he had never heard about Tuborg. He said you only have one big "Beer-maker" in Denmark and that is Carlsberg... So is Tuborg a local brand?wink

And he also said that the best Beer in the world, without competition, is Falcon. But I guess you already knew that...

So I guess you want us to help you out with an ending. It's some sort of quiz again i suppose...

Well the kittens are obviously the main characters in this story, everything else is just distractions, so how about this:

The kittens, sick and tired of being oppressed by humans, revolt! They eat the webmaster, thereby effectively closing this forum, and get their revenge by making us feel miserable for the rest of our lifes.

Re TUBORG. I recall my dad got it from the PX at Roswell AFB when I was little (late 1950s).
And their tulip-shaped beer glasses had a crown on them. So that brand should exist ...

This is what happened on that Sunday in Mullerup:

When the happy sucker's train was hanging on the edge of the station area,

UserPostedImage

it was first noticed by the semi-retired Canadian Märklin dealer,

UserPostedImage

who instantly grabbed his Canadian build mobile phone,

UserPostedImage

and called the emergency service, which dispatched the fire brigade.

UserPostedImage

Due to wrong information, caused by wooden interference from the Canadian phone,

UserPostedImage

the fire brigade at first misunderstood which beer / wagon was in trouble,

why they positioned a guard at the beer boxes at the station.

UserPostedImage

The full scenario can be seen below, notice how the beer on the station is cooled down by water,
while an armed guard and 4 look-outs are securing the area around the beer.

This is standard procedure in Mullerup if beers are involved in accidents. wink [}:)] biggrin

Three of the firemen observed the happy sucker's problem by themselves,
and positioned themselves below the wagon, ready to rescue it.

And the man on the stretcher?

He is the author of this story, fainted, caused by exhaustion from writing this story.
[:0] [B)] wink [}:)] biggrin biggrin biggrin

[:X] The [:X] lady [:X] in [:X] red [:X] ? [:X] [:p] [:p] [:p] [^] [^] [^]

I don't know, she never registered at my address, probably due to malfunction in the

Tuborg commercial. Great!

The story is not quite over yet, please come back later / tomorrow.

To be continued. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

I know how it ends.. Darth gets the lady in red and they climb aboard his space ship and set course for goofy. This is a long...very long journey and the lady in red is crazy about Darth ..ooooh what a wonderful romantic ending.
HS is left crying beside his beloved wagon but all will be well as a delivery of the Insider arrives explaining that this is what is supposed to happen to this type of wagon and it is not a problem.
So everybody lives happily everafter safe in the knowledge that Capt John is forever on guard ....ah but what about the kittys is that a tail I see as the curtain comes down and the picture fades.

Mullerup is quiet again.

The late afternoon train is bringing bananas from The old Goat’s Banana Bendery, Brizzie, Australia.

On the platform you see a flock of Chinese horses belonging to a local family of farmers.

These Chinese china horses are made OF china, IN China, BY Chinese Chinese. [:0] [:0] [:0] [:0] [:0] [}:)]

And it even says so on the box. [:0] biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

(Actually it says so on all 30+ boxes, each containing 12 horses. Purellum public auction factor. [:I] ) biggrin biggrin

UserPostedImage

I don’t know much about the young red-haired girl sitting on the edge of the platform,
all I can tell is that she seems to be very fond of everything train related.

Her language is all Dutch to me; I tried looking in her book once, which didn’t help much. [:o)]

On the front page of her book are 3 children, sitting on a hill along a railroad, waving at the train driver.

UserPostedImage

She has been reading that book ever since I bought the figure! biggrin

UserPostedImage

The bedtime story is now over, the topic continues a little longer. wink [}:)] biggrin

Please click and listen while reading the last of my story.

On the first picture you saw a dumper and a mini excavator. wink

UserPostedImage

The last two pictures also shows a dumper and a mini excavator. biggrin biggrin biggrin

UserPostedImage

In the summertime, the dumper is used as a small mobile svimming pool. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Note to self: Get pictures from Janne and Martins wedding, Janne in the pool! Me too!! biggrin biggrin [:p]

Please also note the flags etc.

In Mullerup we all regard Tuborg to be on top; but we also regard XXXXdown. wink biggrin biggrin

UserPostedImage

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

I have no idea if you clicked on any of the links I gave above; but PLEASE click this one.

This 50 seconds Youtube video shows ME, starting the old dumper.

The video was done as a test, my friend had just bought a new camera.

Usually the “smoke screen” is much larger; but I forgot to set the diesel pumps to maximum. [:I]

The engine is a 2 cylinder Petter Diesel, made in UK, 15 horsepower, 1950+/-.

In this case 2 cylinders means building two single cylinder engines on to one double crankshaft,
in a two-cylinder crankshaft housing. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Note to self: Take close-up picture of dumper motor. [:p]

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I'm certain.

Thank you all for taking your time, sleep well, remember to kiss your wives / husbands goodnight. wink

A danish who doesnt know about Tuborg??? You must be joking!!!
Now serious, although not the right person to explain it, I can tell you that Tuborg is indeed owned by Carlsberg. Carsberg basically owns everything bottled in Denmark, expect the milk...
But when I was stuffing shelves in the local supermarket as a kid, we would haul an average of 10 cases of Tuborg for each case of Carlsberg. Also Tuborg has some famous buildings in copenhagen, visible also from the regional and communter trains. They also had a 30m tall "bottle" stationed outside their main office.
I think you employee-friend has lost his danish mind -erhm... memory! ;-)
