Can anyone give me or recommend where I can find the inside and outside dimensions and tolerances for Marklin M track and also car wheel spacing with tolerances. I am using used M track for my layout and some of it requires adjustment where two pieces join.

This is M-track; for C-track roadbed is 40 mm, and height sligtly, er, I think less. But I don't know exactly; normally one don't have to know as witj 3Rail there are not many manufacturers too choose. Either it's 3R or not. Why do you ask?

I, for one, would like to have the c-track dimentions. Especially the roadbed angle. When I start adding road crossings and station platforms, I would like to know what angle to set on the table saw.

Hi McLae, all,
Quote:
[size=1" face="Verdana" id="quote]quote: I, for one, would like to have the c-track dimentions.

C track dimensions are:

roadbed angle = 53.87deg (1 : 0.73)
bed width (base) = 40mm
bed width (top) = 28.5mm
bed height = 8mm
height to top of sleepers = 8.7mm
height to top of rails = 10.3mm
sleeper width = 27mm
spacing of rails (inside to inside)= 16.5mm

(All dimensions from Marklin's "Das Gleisplanbuch", p14

Hope this is what you were after!Smile
