Does anyone know if it's possible to program the digial address of a new M* color light signal with IB? I gave up using my 6021 years ago and don't even have a M* keyboard, as the M* directions call for. I'd like to use a high digital address to avoid confusion with turnout commands. Thanks, anyone!

Thanks Adrian. And Thanks to Marout for the enlightening instruction! I plan to try the procedure later today!

Can anyone provide a clear differentiation between the 76391 and the 74391 home signals. On the surface, the 76xxx switches can be controlled by the CS and simutaneously by impulses from momentary contact switches such as the #24994 circuit tracks. In the case of the input from track contact switches, the CS status does not seem to be updated. Can the 74xxx switchs (which are much less expensive) be controled by both manual controls (72750 unit) and by track based switches? If so, why are the 76xxx signals so much more expensive?

74xxx is merely a mast with two lamps. Has no decoder, no train control, no internal relay which keeps the state.

It's required to use either a control box, or a relay (7244) and some diodes; if you use relay, it may be controled by circuit tracks.
