I don’t want to start another thread where we all debate the benefits or problems with Chinese manufacture. However I would be curious to know where the ESU models are manufactured? Does anyone know?

Cheers….

I think ESU products are made in China.

All products? I fully expect the decoders are manufactured there, but I’m curious about the locomotive models?

I only have one ESU loco and it was made in China if I remember correctly. I will check my model when I get the chance, but it might be a while.

Regardless of where it was made it is of exceptional quality and far ahead of Marklin in detail, construction and electronics. at least it was six years ago. Everything is of the highest quality, including a beautiful motor that is not disposable.
Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Just got a steam model, Made In China is printed in small letters. Great quality models though.
