Hi...

I'm looking to upgrade my Marklin 37201 to a Loksound decoder and haven't had any luck sourcing a suitable sound file.

Does anyone know if one is available?

Cheers,

Michael

Michael we are going to need to know exactly what ESU Loksound decoder you are going to use first please.
There are many versions & sound profiles are very specific to that decoder version.

Example: https://www.esu.eu/en/downloads/sounds/

Hi Dave,

My apologies - The decoder will be a Loksound v5.

Cheers,

Michael

You won't find a sound file for a V3201 as it was dismantled long before any recording facilities existed to record it.
I have an earlier model of this loco that I also want to put a Loksound 5 into, using fiddled sound files from other locos, but because of the way the exhaust from the diesel was passed through heat exchangers I believe the resultant sound output should be rather muted.
