Early July this year we then departed Berlin by DB ICE train for Hamburg :

We took some time to see the city:

And next day made our way to the "main event":

Train control looked a bit more complex than on my layout ! :

We took a "behind the scenes" tour :

this enabled us to see the interesting reverse (rear) side of some of the miniature signboards amongst the scenery OhMyGod :

(and it is supposed to be a family outing! Blushing ).

Miniatur Wunderland well met our expectations and was certainly worth the visit.
