New Model Train Shop Grand Opening in BC - InterCity Trains and Hobbies

Joined: 04/04/2013(UTC) Posts: 1,275 Location: Port Moody, BC		Yesterday was the grand opening of a new model train store in Langley, BC called InterCity Trains and Hobbies. It is so nice to see this opening considering all of the closures that have happened in the Lower Mainland in recent years. This store has a mixture of North American and European content. There is even an operating Maerklin layout in the front of the store and a select offering of Maerklin products, both new and 2nd hand. This has not been the case locally for a number of years since Eurorail Hobbies moved to the Okanagan. I certainly hope they do well.

Joined: 31/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 597 Location: Toronto, Ontario		It is always great to see a new store. I had a look at the Facebook page as the website is not fully opened. There is some quite old Roco in one of the pics which suggests they also do second hand.

Regards Mike C Yes it is. I'm not sure if it is a new partnership, but Central Hobbies staff were all there along with the new owner.
