TOday I picked up a Lok that I got on Ebay. It is a Shunter ans has the number D71729 stamped on hte underside of the body.
I would like to identify the item. Runs beautifully and even old has had no running. Still stiff.
Hope that someone can help

It's a 3000... If it is running on your digital layout then it should be a delta version 3000.20 3000.30 or 3000.40 from startsets 2602, 2915 or 29205 respectively..

Not if it ran correctly on a digital layout - 1963-67 is an analogue locos...

Look further down the list for all versions with a 89 006 number... There are three others to choose...

Adrian,

R So I did not look carefully enough so it must be one of these:

2602 1987-1991 Dig.6080 SFCM III 89 006 DB schwarz, 3 Lampen
2915 1992-1996 Delta SFCM III 89 006 DB schwarz, 3 Lampen, Set
It has 3 Lamps on front 3 dummys at rear.

I set the address at 6 and it ran. (that was the address that I was given)

That tells that this loco was originally contained in the set 2602. Cool
