Hi all,

I have a 7286 Turntable which I've controlled with the supplied conventional control box until now. My layout is digital, I use a CS2 (60215) for control, and I run accessories with a separate Märklin analogue transformer.

I have now bought a Märklin 7687 digital retrofit controller for the turntable. According to the instructions, it should be wired like this with my CS2:

However, the instructions do say:

"For digital locomotive operation the sockets B 0 0 for locomotive power are connected to a digital power circuit (Central Station
Central Unit or Booster, ill. 1, ill. 2). This power circuit may be different from that supplying power for controlling the turntable"

So my question is, does this mean I can still use the analogue accessory circuit, like this:

or will I blow up my CS2 if I do this?

Hi Herman

There is no problem in using a wiring as per the second illustration and using the train control output of the transformer but:
- remember that this transformer train control output will have a shared 0 with your digital system
- remember (but you know this already) never connect to the B output of your digital system any other power source Never Ever.
Apart from this you will be fine.
Cheers
Jean
