I'm building a small layout with K-tracks. I've bought a SBM-driveunit with a Faulhaber-motor in my Lima's NSB El-13. The SBM-driveunit runs very fine, but it prefer fine laid tracks.

When ajusting the space between the wheels to 14,0 mm (according to NEM-340 and to fit Märklin K-tracks) there often tend to be a short circuit between the inner side of the wheels and the contact pins when running on slim turnouts og dubblecrossings. I think the two little pins in the center of the dubblecrossing are some of the devils. [}:)]

When ajust the space between the wheels a little wider (up to 14,3 mm), the driveunit tend to derail in my regular turnouts (especially in the right-turnouts).

Any good ideas confused

Try: paint the sides of the contact pins with see-through nail polish or something similar.

I like M-track and my things that run on it were built between 1959 and 1972.
