Indulging in Man from UNCLE reruns, I notice something familiar.
The bad guys in "The Children's Day Affair " episode from 1965 are using Märklin trains on M track to try and force secret information out of hero Napoleon Solo.

Hi,

It is still impressing that someone (Merzbach ?) was able to place a MÄRKLIN-layout in a Man from U.N.C.L.E. - episode which was first broadcasted on Dec, 12th 1965. At the peak of the Christmas-business. Against strong US-competitors.

regards

Markus

Would not have been possible if the loks were digital and had delayed acceleration/deceleration. Kaboom!

Death by electric train set would be a scenario that the crime scene investigators probably would not think about.

It is also a brilliant way for the missus to finish you off and still retain the value of the train collection for future profit.

People! Thinking about it, do not show this to anyone with a potential motive!

Yes ist is a 3011 in the HAMO-Version, delivered from 1964. But they cut off the headlights.
