Thought I had 3048 manual but , not. need traction tire number for this unit and a place in USA to get them. It appears my 1960-70 locos need "rubber":) I see lots of them online but I lack a cross reference to get right part. Sincerely, getting back into this hobby(Thomas)Love

Hi Thomas,

You need Märklin 7152. Ebay.com lists a number of offers from sellers in the US.

Look like you need the 7149 rubbers to me...
But maybe 7152 have replaced those.

3048_Manual.pdf (10,961kb) downloaded 107 time(s).

Hi,

7149 was the number for the transparent plastic-wheels used until 1961. They were replaced by the rubber-wheels 7152 from 1962.

Markus

I was told by independent source that 7152, 7153, 7154 tires cover all Marklin applications. is that true?

Hi Thomas,

That's true as long as we are talking about H0-trains.

That's not true.
There is a smaller size 7151. And there are larger types for prototype wheels larger than 2m (225 024).
For the Thalys there is 656 500.

And there may be more ...

Regards
Tom
