Good evening fellow Marklin users,

I was given a number of Marklin locomotives by a friend recently to see if I could bring them back to life again. One of the locomotives is the V16/V140 from the Forefather's set. My friend purchased this together with a large quantity of other Marklin locomotives recently. The previous owner had made an attempt to change from Marklin decoders to Lok Pilot decoders but in the process he did not adhere to the colour coding as well as installing a rather amateur type of connection system. My friend would like the locomotive restored to Marklin decoders but unfortunately during the conversion process all cables were cut form the Marklin 600967 decoder (which came with the locomotive). Does anyone out there have a schematic for this decoder or know what colour goes to what solder pad and equally what colour goes to each pad on the lighting module?

Thank you in anticipation of your replies.

John

Tom,

Thank you for the suggestion.

I am happy to report that thanks to your suggestion the locomotive has now been restored to original Marklin control.
