I have Eurofima coaches in the orange C1 livery from Maerklin, Roco, ACME, LS Models and ADE. This topic deals with the models from Roco, ACME, LS Models and ADE.
I have matching coaches (SBB, OBB and SNCF) from Roco, RailTop (Heris), LS Models and Liliput

Most of my original Roco Eurofima coaches have an off-white coloured stripe under the windows. A few of the later FS and SBB models came with a pure white stripe. The matching SBB Bm (Liliput/LSM), Bpm (RT-Heris/LSM) and WRm (LSM/Liliput) coaches all came with a pure white stripe.

The ACME SBB Eurofima (52400) came with a white stripe. The newer LSM Eurofima coaches (SBB, OBB and FS) all came with an off-white stripe, very similar to the original Roco models.

Thus, the stripe on the LSM Eurofimas does not match the same stripe on the SBB WRm, Bm and Bpm coaches.
The only combinations that are possible are the ACME SBB Eurofima or the more recent Roco model with the white stripe.

I have an ACME FS baggage coach that I use with my LSM FS Eurofima coaches. This coach has the same off-white stripe. There is also a slight difference in the shade of the colour of the roof compared to the LSM FS Eurofima coaches. I do not know whether other ACME FS Eurofima coaches have a pure white or an off-white stripe. This means that the two ACME models (FS Baggage and SBB Am) do not have the same colour stripes.

This brings me to my question. Were all of the C1 coaches designed to have the same livery or were there differences?
I know of the following countries that had C1 coaches:

SNCF: Eurofima and Vu coaches (used for Benelux trains)
SBB: Am, Bm (1972), Bpm (1979), WRm (1968)
OBB: Amoz, Bmoz, WRmoz, other coach types
SNCB: I6 A9, B11, I10 (various), other coaches (restaurant, etc)

I always thought that the C1 was supposed to be unified colours agreed to by the railways.

Here is what I have put together:

M37325* - AC52400 - LS47235.3 - LS47235.1 - LS47235.2 - LS47220.1 - LS47220.2
Re 6/6 - SBB Am - SBB WRm - SBB Bpm - SBB Bpm - SBB Bm - SBB Bm

* or Re 4/4II/Re 4/4 IV

I also have almost a duplicate of the first consist if I use the Roco SBB Eurofima (later version with white stripe) and the Liliput restaurant coach along with the RailTop-Heris 13020/13021 Bpm coaches. I can also use the ADE Eurofima instead of the Roco one as it also has a white stripe.

This gives me two (or three) consists with matching white stripes.

Why is there so much variance between models and why does this occur even on models from the same company?
