Typically Märklin: the prototype has red pantographs, the Roco model has red pantographs, Märklin's hand-made sample has red pantographs - and the final production run has black pantographs, probably some that were in stock from a different model.

The catalogue shows black diamond-shaped pantographs for the BR 151, ref. no. 39582, while the delivered model hat red pantographs. The prototype has single-arm pantographs.
I presume they had some red pantographs left from the 39581.

The loco E 18 40 from 26509 is another example that came with different pantographs than shown in the catalogue.

The photos in the product database show hand-made samples that may be changed without further notice.
Regards
Tom

Steven,

Slightly OT, but it's still a great looking model as you have pictured it.

Definitely.
They sell at high prices. I'd like to get one, but on eBay they always sell for high prices.

Was there a similar model with red pantos? Can you order the replacement pantos for that model and install them on this one?
I did that for a number of my SBB loks and replaced the metal pantos with the new grey painted ones

Great Model StevenThumpUp ThumpUp , one of my favorites. I was going to suggest getting some from this one:
E 94

But I see the prototype has double arm, as does your model. Blushing
