The plug and wire that came with this transformer end with a round plug. Since I got it for powering turnout motors and other items. Can someone tell which side of the plug is yellow (+) and which side is negative (0)? This is facing the plug.

Let me explain a little better. The plug wire can't be used due to the ending, So I plan to put a yellow (+) wire into the transformer and brown (0) into the other side. So facing the transformer socket where the plug goes. Which side of the socket is Yellow (+).

Operationally these are AC transformers and the polarity is not applicable.

Peter's information is correct: the output is AC and you can define which pole you use for L (not +) and which for 0.

Or you can follow the instructions in the 60052 manual and let Märklin define the poles for you (they have brown on the left and yellow on the right).
