Jeremy.

1). If at first you don't succeed, bungee jumping mightn't be for you.
2). The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second rat that gets the cheese.

Hi Jeremy,

This is a Märklin #37137, new in 2011. It is a model of the Swiss Eb 3/5. Märklin produced at least two other versions of this loco : 37131 & 37136.

Regards

Markus

Many thanks Marcus - I knew about the 37131 but not 37137 - looks nicer I think. Thanks again.

Hi John, I am desperate for a couple of Swiss Steamers - the Marklin ones seem a bit "bland" compared to some others. Would love Mother M
to make this!!

Jeremy.

Edit. ps. I have yet to jump for one the "der Adler" variants. j.

Thanks Angus - some lovely pics of the "haversack" on that link....R4100 seems a bit pricey in SA Rand terms...?
Modellbahnshop-lippe has it at 210 Euro, plus 17.56 Euro postage;add the SA VAT, and you lookin' at about R3100.....

Hi Joe, haven't investigated prices but, yes based on what you've found it is a little costly. Very nice little puffer though.

(Please keep the weather down there.... from a slightly overcast but warm Joburg :) )
